But, wasn’t Jesus BOTH FULLY God and FULLY man at once? ? Not like us at all, in that respect. He was, in His incarnation, and always will be, God the Son, in the triune Godhead — GOD the Father; God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. God is One, inseparable.

In searching out passages in the Bible on this — and their implications, I ran across this site👇🏼again. I was thinking about Jesus being fully God and yet fully Man, one of us—yet perfect & thinking about the proposition that His Divine Nature was rendered dormant in the man Jesus, everything miraculous, or all-knowing, etc, being accomplished only through the Holy Spirit. This is a big & deep subject!! My puny mind has a hard time wrapping around all of it. : ) Great Christian minds have examined this over the many years.
So how are we to see this? It matters, I think.

God’s Glory is but one expression of His divine nature.
While he indeed hid His eternal Glory (hidden from sight —covered and obscured) neither would that nor any of His other Divine attributes as God — His DIVINE NATURE—necessarily be made dormant. We see His OWN POWER over the storm, healing the blind, turning the water into fine wine (how He loves and Blesses our love for one-another! It reflects the love in Himself!)—and so many other miracles. He feels His power go out to the bleeding woman. He knows all the thoughts of people. He knows the future and distant events —raises dead people (Lazarus, for one). He does these in part to demonstrate His own Love and power, to show as signs who HE is.
—Yet, elsewhere and at other times He and scripture indeed credit the Spirit. He uses the first person “I”, and “my” many times when speaking of His own miracles and His own power, but calls on The Spirit and The Father at other times, even as he submits to the Father, always. Yet, these persons are eternally ONE!
In His incarnation, we know from scripture, He hid His eternal Glory — Hidden but still inside the man, Jesus— Glory HIDDEN in the material flesh of man, whose nature he took on, completely and fully. But His nature was also fully God, His own Divine Nature exercised; not lying still but manifested. Not dormant.

Re the transfiguration you mentioned—on the mountain. His GLORY was displayed (although even then I think it was only in part) — His Glory was un-hidden, uncovered, as He conferred with Moses and Elijah. But so much more happened!

May I add that He chose to obey the will of His Father (as we will do as we are in Him). (John 10: 17, 18, for example.)
